About Us

Scope

The Centre for Regulatory Governance ("CRG") shall serve as a multidisciplinary academic and policy institution of JGU dedicated to advancing excellence in regulatory governance through research, teaching, policy engagement and capacity building.

Mission & Functions

The mission of the CRG shall be to:

  • Undertake interdisciplinary research on regulatory institutions, governance and law;
  • Promote evidence-based public policy relating to regulation;
  • Facilitate dialogue among regulators, government, academia, industry and civil society;
  • Strengthen regulatory capacity through education, training and executive development programmes;
  • Support postgraduate, doctoral and executive education in Regulatory Governance, subject to the applicable regulations of JGU;
  • Publish research, policy papers, books, journals and reports;
  • Undertake consultancy assignments, sponsored research and collaborative projects consistent with the objectives of JGU; and
  • Promote international cooperation and academic partnerships in the field of regulatory governance.
